A UPS Call Tag: What Is It?

A call tag is a specific kind of pre-paid return label that can be used to return an item. It is typically provided by businesses so that customers can return goods by mail without having to buy additional labels. Call tags are replaced by UPS Return labels.

Return labels are seen as a value-added service and come at an extra cost, which is frequently borne by the business that supplied the item. There are now three different return label options offered by UPS: the Print Return Label, which is typically printed by the business; the Electronic Return Label, which is emailed to the client; and the Print and Mail Return Label.
