Deion Sanders, a former National Football League (NFL) player, played on two Super Bowl-winning teams during the course of his career. With the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX in January 1995, he won his first championship. His second came in Super Bowl XXX in January 1996 while playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
The 1994 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Sanders contributed an interception to the San Francisco 49ers’ victory over the San Diego Chargers. After joining the Cowboys, Sanders missed much of the 1995 season due to injury.
That year, in week nine, he played his first game. In the Cowboys’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, he did have a lengthy reception.
