Does Gatorade Have a Slogan?

In a television campaign starring NBA players Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade, Gatorade emphasised this inner drive to be the best and debuted the phrase “Win From Within” in March 2013. The company also conducted a special promotion centred on this tagline at the same time, producing five bottles, each featuring a famous sports moment, including Michael Jordan’s foul line slam dunk in 1988. In use as of February 2015 is the slogan.

Before 2013, PepsiCo, the parent company of Gatorade, marketed the sports drink and snack firm and one of its most well-known products with the brash slogan “Is It In You?”

The tagline encapsulated the idea that success requires a strong internal motivation and willingness to delve deep. Although Michael Jordan starred in an advertisement with the catchphrase, it was his outtakes that garnered the most attention because of his difficulty pronouncing the phrase correctly.

Gatorade has experimented with various catchphrases and slogans over the years. It used to use “Gatorade Thirst Quencher” at one point. Later, it changed the names of its sports drink varieties and gave each one a distinctive catchphrase: “Be Tough,” “No Excuses,” “Shine On,” and “Bring It.”
