In addition to furniture, Big Lots also sells food, consumables, home furnishings, toys, apparel, and gadgets.
Big Lots’ inventory is largely made up of overstock or discontinued items that sell out quickly with minimal refilling; however, food items are constantly replenished. As of September 2015, Big Lots, a discount retailer with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, operated 1,495 department shops across 48 states.
