Follow the manufacturer’s instructions in the product manual to change the combination on a Bunker Hill safe. The steps for altering a combination may differ depending on the model.
In order to change the combination on a Bunker Hill Security electronic digital safe type 45891, you must first reset the old one. Enter the current code on the electronic keypad and then press the A or B key. Wait until the green light turns on, then turn the knob and open the door within five seconds. Inside the safe, near the door hinge, press the small red button. Continue pressing the button until a yellow light appears on the safe’s front. Enter a new combination of up to eight characters using the keypad. A or B are the keys to use. The updated code takes effect when the safe beeps twice.
The reset process is the same for the Bunker Hill Security digital floor safe model 91006, although it opens differently. Turn the knob clockwise, then the handle clockwise, then open the door after inputting the code and waiting for the green light. Alternatively, remove the manual lock cover and open the safe using a key. Turn the key counter-clockwise after inserting it. Open the door by turning the knob and handle. Enter a new combination by pressing the red reset button.
