How Many Hours Are in 2200 Military Time?

10 p.m. is 2200 hours in military time. Military time, one of the most widely used timekeeping systems in the world, is based on a 24-hour clock.

Military time runs from midnight to midnight, so 1 a.m. is 0100 hours, 2 a.m. is 0200 hours, etc. The time does not reset after noon like it does in conventional timekeeping. Instead, 1 p.m. in military time is 1300 hours.

Confusion is to be avoided by doing this. Military time does not use a colon to divide the hours and minutes when writing out the hours and minutes.
