How Many Jobs Does the World Have?

The world’s population is 7.2 billion people, with approximately 70% of them employed. This translates to almost 5 billion employment worldwide. As more young individuals enter the workforce, this figure is anticipated to climb.

In the United States alone, there are 3.8 million employment openings. The unemployment rate is constantly decreasing, while the number of people leaving the workforce is increasing.

China, Brazil, and India have the highest labour force participation rates. This proportion is around 63 percent in the United States. Jobs in the private sector are increasing, with the computer industry leading the charge. In some developing countries, government jobs are in high demand.
