How Many Tonnes of Gravel Does a Dump Truck Hold?

Based on common sizes used in business, a dump truck can carry anywhere from 13 to 25 tonnes of gravel. Ten-wheelers can hold up to 13 tonnes of gravel, while the biggest flat-bed trucks can hold up to 25 tonnes.

There are different sizes of trucks in between that can carry different loads. A twelve-wheeler, for example, can carry 16 tonnes of gravel. Both semi-end dump trucks and high side-end dump trucks can carry 21 tonnes of gravel.

The most gravel that can fit in an industrial belly dump truck is 23 tonnes. Transfer dump trucks and Super 16s, on the other hand, can carry 24 tonnes of gravel.
