A 12-ounce bottle of Sprite has 148 calories, but a 16-ounce bottle has 197 calories. A teaspoon of sugar has about 4 grammes of sugar, so a 12-ounce bottle of Sprite has the same amount of sugar as more than 8 teaspoons.
