Is Ray Romano of Jewish faith?

While the Barones on “Everybody Loves Raymond” are a mixture of Jewish and Italian cultures, Ray Romano is himself Italian. His father, Albert Romano, and mother, Lucie Fortini, are mostly of Italian heritage with a trace of French ancestry.

Since 1989, Ray Romano has been active in cinema and television, and he is most known for his role in “Everybody Loves Raymond” and his numerous guest appearances on shows such as “Cosby” and “King of Queens.” He also provided the voice for Manfred, also known as Manny, in the animated “Ice Age” films. In 2013, Romano became a contestant in the World Series of Poker.
