LS Studio, also known as Ukrainian Angels Studio, produced a number of photography collections of young women between 2001 and 2004, one of which was LS Land Magazine. The LS Studio website was the most well-known child pornography website in the world prior to being raided and taken down by Ukrainian police.
LS Island, LS Dreams, LS Stars, LS Barbie, and LS Fantasy were some of the other LS Studio collections in addition to LS Land. The studio used TV and newspaper advertisements to find girls between the ages of 8 and 16.
The studio, which mostly operated in Kharkov, Kiev, and Simferopol, tricked the kids’ parents by pretending to be an established modelling agency. The kids were then captured in suggestive situations, nude, and custom-tailored attire by photographers. There were around 1,500 little children involved in all.
Following a collaborative investigation with Interpol, the raid was carried out in July 2004 by the crime investigation division of the Ukrainian interior ministry. Computers, video equipment, pictures of the kids, and bank records were seized by the police.
The agency has hundreds of thousands of dollars in frozen bank accounts. The U.S. Department of State reported in 2005 that Ukraine was the country where the majority of the world’s child pornography originated.
