NADP staff must have a Common Access Card to access V23 through the SLDCADA website. To enter their hours for payroll, the employee must first log in to the SLDCADA site using their Common Access Card, then select the “V23 login” option. Only Internet Explorer is required to view the SLDCADA website.
Only direct supervisors can provide information and particular help with accessing and using the SLDCADA website and V23 area. Employees use the system to enter time and attendance, and the command POC and the employees’ supervisor keep an eye on it. Supervisors have the authority to adjust employees’ schedules as needed. A Common Access Card takes two to three weeks to arrive once an employee starts, and in the meanwhile, supervisors handle the individual’s time and attendance.
New employees must work an eight-hour shift for one pay period. If an employee has issues accessing the SLDCADA website or the V23 connection, he should first notify his supervisor before troubleshooting on his own. If the supervisor is unable to resolve the problem, the employee should contact his or her local point of contact.
This system is solely for keeping track of time and attendance. Changes to tax documents and personal information should be made by the employee and certified by his supervisor in the “MyPay” system.
