Priest Fleischmann: Who Was He?

One of the six devils thought to be controlling Anneliese Michel was Priest Fleischmann. The fictional film “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” was based on the exorcism of these demons.

A Catholic priest from the Frankish nation named Valentin Fleischmann lived in the sixteenth century. The time period of Fleischmann’s priesthood was roughly 1572–1575. Due to his inebriated actions, he had been defrocked and excommunicated by the Catholic church. Fleischmann was charged with murder and assault.

Fleischmann was the sixth demon that was found to be residing in the body of young German woman Anneliese Michele, according to the priests who performed the exorcism. It’s possible that Anneliese learned about Valentin Fleischmann during her studies as the historian because she was a Catholic living in Germany.
