Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), and Natasha Romanoff all had an era finale with Avengers: Endgame (Scarlett Johansson). The launch of Disney Plus, for which Marvel Studios is solely producing movies and television shows, is fantastic news for MCU fans.

With this, a number of new Marvel films and television programmes on Disney Plus have already been revealed. Some of the Marvel television series will have a few episodes, making them longer than a movie while still giving viewers a full tale.

In the Multiverse of Madness, Doctor Strange (Movie)

The first of the planned Marvel films and television programmes on Disney Plus is the fourth Marvel film, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which is based on the superhero Doctor Strange from comic books.

The Sam Raimi-directed film, which was produced by Marvel Studios, will be released as the follow-up to the 2016 film Doctor Strange. Dr. Strange journeys across the universe to battle the enigmatic foe a few months after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home with the help of both new and old mystical allies. The movie’s release date is set for May 6, 2022, while its world premiere takes place on May 2, 2022.

Lady Marvel (Show)

The planned Marvel films and Disney Plus series, directed by Adil El Arbi, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Bilall Fallah, and Meera Menon, are based on the Kamala Khan-like superhero Ms. Marvel. Ms. Marvel is an American-Pakistani with shape-shifting talents who learns she is an inhuman. Iman Vellani will take on the role of Ms. Marvel in September 2020. Release of this fourth MCU season is planned for June 2022 on Disney Plus alone.

Thor: Thunder and Love (Movie)

Availability: July 8, 2022

Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth instalment of the Thor Saga and the follow-up to Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, is directed by Taiki Waitit and stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman. In the film, Gorr the God Butcher, who wants to eradicate Gods, is fought by Thor with the assistance of Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster.

The upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder Marvel film is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.

She-Hulk (Series)

Tatiana Marlany plays Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk, which was created by Jessica Gao and stars Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Jameela Jamil, and others in the key roles. Bruce Banner won’t be the only Hulk in the MCU after the release of She-Hulk. As a part of Phase Four of the MCU, this 10-episode series is planned for release in 2022; particular release dates have not yet been disclosed.

Unknown Invasion (Series)

The MCU’s ninth TV series is the planned miniseries from Marvel Studios. Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendeksohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and Emilia Clarke are among the cast members of the film. The Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens, are shown as having infiltrated every sphere of Earthly existence in the television series. The six-episode series is anticipated to air in 20222, but no verified release dates have been made public.

Ironheart (Series)

The Ironheart television series, which will star an engineer who creates superior armour suits, will premiere on Disney Plus in December 2020, according to a Marvel Studios announcement. The movie’s main character is Dominique Thorne. Although the series’ official release date has not yet been announced, it is anticipated to occur sometime in 2022 or early 2023.

Groot, I Am (Series)

Ryan Little and Kirsten Lepore’s upcoming animated series I Am Groot is based on the Groot character from the Marvel comics. He goes on adventures with strange creatures and gets into problems as a result. Phase Four of the MCU will include the film, and it will debut on Disney Plus in 2022. One of the most eagerly anticipated upcoming Marvel films and TV shows on Disney Plus is I Am Groot.
