What Are Some of the Maytag Bravos Washer’s Common Issues?

Failure to start, delayed water filling, water leakage, failure of the door or lid to lock, and overflowing are all common problems with Maytag Bravos washers. Other issues include failure to drain and spin, as well as stopping in the middle of a cycle.

Maytag Bravos washers come in a variety of models, each with its own set of issues. The Maytag Bravos MTW6400TQo, for example, will not start if the user control and display board is damaged or if the electrical power outlet is turned off. When the water pressure from the house supply is low or the water entry valve is obstructed, the washer water reservoir may fill slowly. The MTW6500TQo model may experience water leaking if the drain pump has a hole or crack. A faulty door latch might potentially cause the door and lid to not lock.

When the power to the Maytag Bravos MTW6700TQo washer is turned off, the washer overflows with water. Due to a malfunctioning water inlet valve, the MTW6600TQ0 model may stop in the middle of a cycle. When the drain pump or hose is clogged or the drain pump is worn out, the washer may not drain. When the tub seal and bearing kit on the washer model MTW6300TQ1 wears out, it gets noisy. When the rotor assembly at the back of the tub is damaged, the MTW6600TBO model may fail to spin and agitate.
