What Is a 2.75 GPA Equivalent To?

A GPA of 2.75 is between a B-minus and a B overall. Since a B-minus is a 2.7 and a B is a 3.0, a 2.75 is much closer to a B-minus.

GPA is a simple way to turn the number of letter grades you’ve gotten in a certain amount of time into a single number that can be compared to the scores of other students. Most schools use a scale with no weights, where straight A’s get a score of 4.0.

Some schools use a weighted system that gives higher level classes, like AP, early college, and honours classes, more points.
