What is the length of a semi truck?

Semi-truck trailers range in height from 13 feet 6 inches to 14 feet. Although there are no federal rules on semi-truck heights, certain roadways have clearances that are lower than the typical height of a commercial motor vehicle.

Semi-trucks and trailers may be subject to height restrictions imposed by each state’s Department of Transportation. Semi-trucks, on the other hand, are limited to a height of 13.5 feet by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The maximum height for semi-trucks in the United Kingdom is 13.1 feet.
