What is the location of telephone country code 97?

Although there is no telephone country code “97,” there are multiple country codes that begin or end with these numbers. The countries that start with the letter “97” are mostly in the Middle East.

When making long-distance calls to relatives, friends, or business contacts, the country code must be dialled before the phone number. 970 is the country code for the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Before calling the United Arab Emirates, dial 971, 972 before calling Israel, and 973 before calling Bahrain. The country codes for Qatar, Bhutan, Nepal, and Mongolia are 974, 975, 977, and 976, respectively. Suriname (597) and Aruba (598) are two countries whose codes end in 97. (297).
