What Measurements Does a 55-Gallon Drum Have?

The dimensions of a common 55-gallon drum are roughly 23.3 x 34.9 inches. However, bear in mind that depending on the manufacturer and the type of drum, specific measurements may differ significantly.

The typical sizes of other drums are 14, 15, 20, and 53 gallons. These easy-to-handle barrels are great for using with food goods, hazardous waste, and other solid materials. The majority of them have a lever-locking closure ring for security.

While conventional 55-gallon drums are composed of steel, plastic drums have grown to be more popular as a portable but dependable substitute. In addition to being UV- and rust-resistant, plastic drums have a longer lifespan than steel ones.
