What Shades of Color Denote Veterans Day?

Veterans Day does not have a designated colour, however many individuals wear yellow or red, white, and blue. The public typically associates these colours with the American military forces.

Support our Troops, which originated in Canada and is widely used in the United States, is symbolised with yellow ribbons or apparel. This hue is used to honour service members who are overseas or who have been reported missing in action (MIA) or as prisoners of war (POW).

The American flag’s three colors—red, white, and blue—represent patriotism and can be worn as ribbons to honour Veterans Day.

Every year on November 11, the United States observes Veterans Day, also known as Armistice Day, as a time to honour the contributions of surviving veterans.
