A meteorologist is a scientist who studies weather. A meteorologist examines the atmosphere, anticipates weather, and investigates how climate affects the globe and its inhabitants.
Meteorologists must collect data from approximately 10,000 weather stations throughout the world multiple times per day, including data from up to 500 weather balloons that take measurements in the high atmosphere. Aircraft, radar, and satellites are examples of other data collection systems.
This data is transferred to many countries’ world weather centres, where computers analyse it. Meteorologists construct a weather report for a given region using these numerous measures and data, which is then released to the public.
