What size is a 14 in a girls’ size, and is it the same size in a juniors’ size?

A girl’s size 14 is made for a girl who is 60 to 62 inches tall and has a 32-inch bust, a 26.5-inch waist, and 34.5-inch hips. This is the same as a size 1 or 3 for juniors.

Girls’ clothes are usually made for the more childlike bodies of younger girls, while juniors’ clothes are made for the more hourglass-shaped bodies of growing teenagers. The clothes in the juniors’ section are often more fashionable and may fit tighter or be more revealing than the clothes in the girls’ section. Also, juniors’ pants are often longer than girls’ pants of the same size.
