What Stands for a White Pigeon?

A white pigeon represents respect, love, and peace. In Christianity, a white pigeon or dove is regarded as a representation of the Holy Spirit. The terms “dove” and “pigeon” are frequently used interchangeably since they are both members of the Columbidae family.

Christian imagery depicts the Holy Spirit blessing Jesus as a white dove during his baptism. In politics, a white pigeon is also a representation of peace in opposed to conflict and bloodshed. Pigeons stick together as a family and are devoted to one another. Pigeons were regarded by the Egyptians as a symbol of purity.
