The majority of the major credit cards, as well as specific Nordstrom retail, credit, debit, and gift cards, are accepted as forms of payment for U.S. customers shopping at Nordstrom’s online store. Customers can use their PayPal balance, a bank account, credit card, or their PayPal balance to make payments at Nordstrom as well.
Nordstrom specifically accepts Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and Discover Network credit cards. Cash, collect on delivery fees, checks, money orders, gift certificates, or any other form of online payment is not accepted by the business; however, gift cards may be used to place telephone orders.
However, customers can utilise their Nordstrom Notes—awarded through the Nordstrom Rewards programme when using their Nordstrom debit and credit cards—online.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted as forms of payment when placing an order through PayPal, albeit those funds are always applied first by the company. PayPal also accepts transfers from U.S. banks, but withdrawals take three to five days to complete and demand a backup financing source, like a credit card.
The only Visa and MasterCard accepted for payment from international consumers is the Nordstrom-branded Visa card. Customers from outside of the United States cannot use Nordstrom retail, debit, or gift cards or Nordstrom Notes to make purchases.
These orders are not charged by Nordstrom directly; rather, its logistics partner Borderfree, who handles foreign goods shipment, is in charge of doing so.
