Albert Einstein was not buried. Instead, his body was burned, and no one knows where his ashes are. Einstein died at the age of 76 in a hospital in New Jersey in 1955. An aneurysm that had burst caused bleeding inside the body.
Einstein is best known for coming up with the Theory of Relativity and the equation E=mc2, which says that energy is equal to mass times the speed of light squared. Einstein’s ideas and thoughts have led to a lot of what we know about physics today.
After Einstein died, a doctor took his brain out of his body without the family’s permission. Once the family found out, they agreed that the brain could be studied.
